Programmer

Programmers are one of the most important positions in our team. Without them, a game cannot be created. Programmers with experience in Unity / Unreal Engine Game Development are preferred.

Game Engine Developer

Technical game engine developer works with our core programming team to build the game framework in game engines. Members with with skillsets in game engine related workflow such as Blueprint are preferred.

Game Mechanics

Developing games are all about creating experience. Game mechanics are the ones who design the major gameplay and ways of interaction in game to create amazing experience for players. Members with rich experiencing in gaming (ie. once played / studied a lot of games) are good to go with this position.

Artist / Designer

2D Illustrator (Character / Environment / Objects)

2D Illustrators will mainly work on concept design and creation of 2D art assets in different categories, including characters, scenes, landscapes and objects. Members with experience in digital illustration / art background are preferred.

Graphic Designer /

UI/UX Designer

Graphic Designers will work on creating graphics inside and outside the game, including in-game UI assets and graphics for promotional materials such as trailer and website. Members with graphic design background or with experience in graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator are preferred.

Script Writer

Script writers focus on designing the narration and story plot for the game, as well as the basic storytelling framework of the game including world settings and character settings. Members with creative writing experience / strong literature or creative storytelling background are preferred.

3D Modeler

3D modelers will work with 2D artists to create 3D assets for the game project, including 3D character models, 3D scenes and landscapes, and also 3D objects. Artists with 3D modeling software project experience is preferred.

2D / 3D Animator

2D / 3D animators work on creating motion effects, visual effects and movements for 2D and 3D art assets. Members with experience in 2D animation software such as Adobe After Effects or 3D animation software such as Blender and Autodesk Maya are recommended for this position.

Sound Designer & Music Composer

Sound Designer and Music Composers are important positions in a team to create sound effects, cinematic sounds, as well as music for all scenes in the game. Members with music theoretic background / experience with music notation software and audio editing software are preferred for this position.

General / Business Development

Recuit & General Affairs

Members in the Recruit & General Affairs position focus on the administration and secretary work to maintain the operation of the student interest group. No prior background is needed for this position.

Marketing & Business Development

A game needs to go through marketing and promotion process to out reach the players. None the less, strategical development and market analysis is also crucial to create a sustainable and profitable product. For members with business background or those with strategic mindset and strong analytical skills, this position is made for you.

Producer /

Project Manager

Producers / Project Managers in the team have to take role in managing the workflow and progress of the game production, as well as to work on the communication between different teams as to ensure effective collaboration. Members without prior experience in game design can also apply for this position for an opportunity to learn about the workflow of game production.
